The military actions of Vladimir Putin and the resulting security crisis in Europe have unexpectedly opened a new stage for South Korea’s defense industry. What we rarely witness – operational verification in real conflict zones – is now playing out on the Eastern front and within the NATO defence perimeter. South Korea’s weapon systems are gaining recognition on this global stage, and as a result, “K-defense” is drawing international attention.
